Who can use Cadence

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Instagram Business or Creator account. By using Cadence, you confirm that you are the rightful owner of the Instagram account you connect, or have explicit authorization to manage it.

Your Instagram connection

When you connect your Instagram account, you authorize Cadence to read your profile and post history, and to publish content on your behalf when you approve it. You can disconnect at any time from the Settings page, which immediately revokes Cadence's access.

Cadence acts only on content you've explicitly approved — nothing posts without your sign-off.

Your content and your account

You're responsible for the content you upload to Cadence and the posts you approve for publishing. You're also responsible for keeping your Instagram account in compliance with Meta's terms — Cadence cannot shield you from violations of Instagram's rules. You retain full ownership of everything you create.

Acceptable use

Cadence is built for independent musicians managing their own accounts. Don't use Cadence to: spam, harass, post illegal content, impersonate others, manage accounts you don't own or have authorization for, or violate Meta's Community Standards. We reserve the right to suspend accounts engaged in any of the above.

Service and availability

Cadence is provided on a best-effort basis. We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service — Instagram's API has its own outages, our infrastructure can have hiccups, and AI providers occasionally have downtime. We're not liable for missed posts or delays caused by upstream services outside our control.

Termination

You can delete your Cadence account at any time from the Settings page, which removes your data and disconnects your Instagram account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or Meta's policies. If we terminate your account, we'll explain why.

Disclaimers and liability

Cadence is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cadence and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months (or zero, if you haven't paid).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Cadence evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of Cadence after changes means you accept the updated terms.
