Cadence collects the information needed to do its job: your Instagram account data (username, profile details, and post history accessed through Meta's official API), metadata about the content you add to your Selects library (file names, media type, tags, and any notes you add), and basic usage data like which posts you approve, decline, or edit.

We don't collect anything beyond what's needed to generate and manage your posts. We don't track your behavior across other sites or apps.

The data Cadence collects is used to generate weekly post drafts and captions tailored to your voice and content, and to get better at doing that over time. When you decline a post or edit a caption, Cadence learns from that and adjusts future suggestions accordingly.

Usage data — things like approval rates, edit patterns, and posting history — is used internally to improve how Cadence plans and writes. None of it is used for advertising.

Cadence connects to Instagram through Meta's official API. We request only the permissions needed to read your profile and post history, and to help you publish content. We do not store your Instagram password. You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from the Settings page, which will revoke Cadence's access.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. Your content, captions, and account information stay within Cadence and the services that directly power it (like our database and AI provider).

The AI model that writes your captions processes the content and context you've provided — media descriptions, tags, feedback history — but does not retain or train on your data between sessions.

Everything you add to Cadence — photos, videos, captions, notes — belongs to you. We don't claim any rights to it. You can delete your content and account data at any time by contacting us.
